+/- Why are you putting on the Joy Prom?
We are putting on this prom so that you will know that you are loved by God and are special to Him. We love you too!
+/- How much does the event cost?
Not a penny! We have partnered with area businesses to provide this night absolutely free to our guests.
+/- Can I bring a date?
Sure thing! If you would like to bring a date, you're welcome to, however, it is not necessary because we will introduce you to a special host or hostess that will show around when you get here. The focus of this night is to have fun, it will not be a romantic time.
+/- What should I wear?
Wear what makes you feel beautiful and comfortable! If you have formalwear, wear that, but if you don't, dress for the occasion. Girls, there will be volunteers on hand to help you with your hair and makeup and guys, volunteers will shine your shoes!
+/- Do I need to eat dinner before I come?
We will provide you with dinner at the event, so there is no need to eat before you come unless you have specific dietary needs requiring you to do so. If you have allergies, please let us know when you register.

+/- Do I need to eat dinner before I come?
Yes, we will provide light snacks for you, but it is important that you eat a full meal before you arrive.
+/- What should I wear as a volunteer?
Hosts and hostesses should wear formal attire. Medical staff should wear bright yellow shirts and pants. All other volunteers should wear formal wear if desired, or just dress for the occasion.
+/- Where should I park?
Please plan to park in the designated area.
+/- Can I bring a camera or a coat?
Yes, there will be a designated area where you can put your belongings if you would like to leave them for the evening. Don't forget to pick them up at the end of the night!
+/- How do I interact with an individual with special needs?
Please plan to attend one of our training sessions to have this and many more of your questions answered.

+/- If I were to stay for this event, what is there for me to do?
We will have a hospitality room designed especially for parents and caretakers to relax and enjoy the evening. There will be refreshments provided as well as a live video feed of the dance.
+/- If I would like to stay with the guest I brought for the evening, can I?
Absolutely! We would love for you to stay and enjoy every aspect of the night with the guest you brought if you would like. If you would like to rest a while, there will be a hospitality room set up for you where you can enjoy some refreshments and meet other families.
+/- If I plan to stay, what should I wear?
You're welcome to wear whatever you feel comfortable in, but please know that all of our guests and volunteers will be in formal attire, so you may want to dress the same way.
+/- Do I need to eat dinner before I come?
Yes, we will provide light snacks, but you should plan on eating a full meal before you come.
+/- Can I drop off my guest/child or do I need to stay?
Feel free to stay and enjoy the evening. There will be a specific room designed just for parents and caretakers. We would love for you to stay, but if you desire to drop off your guest/child feel free to do that as well. They will be supervised and cared for.
+/- What time do I need to pick up my guest?
Please park and come in to the resort at 10:00pm to pick up your guest.
+/- As a caregiver for a guest, can I also serve as a volunteer?
We would love your help! Please check out the volunteer page to see areas in which you can help.
+/- How do I thank the volunteer who was paired with my guest?
We do not give out personal contact information for any of our volunteers. If you would like to send a general thank you note, please make it out to: LifeSong Church (10620 Southern Highlands Pkwy, Suite 110-163, Las Vegas, NV 89141) we will make sure it is distributed properly.
